Team management in the Trading Workspace
User roles, invitation flow, and access control.
Expanding your team on Katanox is easy. Trading workspace admins can invite team members directly through the platform, allowing you to manage access and roles with flexibility.
Adding users to your Supplier account
Katanox supports two user roles for Supplier accounts:
- Admin: This role has full access to your organization’s account. Admins can invite new users, manage integrations, update the organization profile, control property access, and accept or reject deals and proposals.
- Contributor: Contributors focus on content and operational tasks. They can manage property content (such as photos, descriptions, and availability) for the properties they’ve been granted access to — but they do not have permission to invite users or manage deals.
Adding a team member is straightforward. From your workspace, go to your account settings by clicking your profile icon in the top-right corner. Then select Settings > Team > Invite New Members.
You’ll be prompted to enter the email address of the user you want to invite and assign their role (Admin or Contributor). If you’re inviting a Contributor, you’ll also need to decide which properties they should have access to.
- All Properties: Grants access to every property under your account
- Only Selected Properties: Allows you to specify which properties they can manage
If you choose to limit access, you can select properties from the list and add them to the user’s access list using the arrow icon.
When you're done, click Send Invitations. The invited user will receive an email from Katanox. To join your team, they’ll need to register as a Supplier. Once their registration is complete, they'll be able to log in and access the properties and tools assigned to them.
Adding Users to Your Buyer Account
To invite someone, go to the Settings > Team section of your workspace. You’ll find an option to invite new members by entering their email address and selecting a role for them.
There are two roles you can assign:
- Admin: This role provides complete access to your Buyer account. Admins can manage team members, update company information, access the sandbox, and oversee trading activity.
- Agent: This role has limited access, specifically to Bookings and Reservations. It's ideal for operational team members who manage travel arrangements and day-to-day activities.
Invited users will receive an email with a link to join your Trading Workspace securely.
